Hyas have been commissioned to deliver design and masterplanning training for elected Members and Officers at South Staffs District Council over early Spring 2021. Hyas were chosen from a competitive field, on the basis of our extensive involvement in delivering masterplans of various scales nationwide, giving us a wide ranging portfolio of case studies and practical knowledge, combined with our experience of facilitating training sessions that specialise on all aspects of quality development. The commission requires interactive training sessions covering the principles of new settlements and delivering quality through masterplans.
This comes hot on the heels of Hyas’ contribution to the recent Yorkshire RTPI ‘What makes a good masterplan’ seminar, which was attended by over 250 delegates.
These sessions are particularly timely given the recent announcements relating to the NPPF and National Model Design Code and allow us to explore with and encourage local authorities to proactively encourage and ensure the creation of beautiful places for the future.
