Aylesbury Garden Town

Hyas have supported the Garden Town partnership since its inception in 2017. This originally involved helping to create a new governance and project management structure, but has since evolved into defining a vision for 2050 and preparing an accompanying delivery strategy based on a Masterplan Framework for the whole town.

Hyas have actively supported the Council’s Garden Town team, providing expert planning and delivery advice helping them to achieve nearly £2m in government Capacity Funding. This has enabled the publication of a Vision and Masterplan for 2050, together with the planning and implementation of a number of transformational projects for the town.

Specifically, support has been provided on stakeholder engagement; communication strategy; preparation of Supplementary Planning Guidance; and interim management.
