Clotherholme Village Visioning

Hyas were commissioned by Homes England to work alongside AECOM who were preparing proposals for the redevelopment of the Ripon Barracks on the edge of Ripon in North Yorkshire.

The site had long been used as an army barracks, and it was important to ensure that redevelopment proposals were appropriate to the local history and context. Hyas provided support with stakeholder and community engagement, facilitating workshops and working with local representatives to work through what and how the site should be redeveloped.

Hyas also established a project engagement website through which information was set out enabling local communities and stakeholders to engage and provide feedback online.
