Hyas Associates was established in 2016 and since then has grown from strength to strength.
The practice has established a strong portfolio of projects on a national basis, primarily focused around large scale settlements, such as Garden Villages and Towns, but also including a range of planning strategy work, capacity building and broader support across scheme funding, delivery and governance. We have been fortunate to be able to deploy our skills and knowledge across many of the largest, most ambitious and exciting placemaking projects currently coming forward across the country.
Upon establishment, our intent was to offer a responsive and flexible service to clients, based upon a small core team supported by a wide network of highly experienced, dedicated and like-minded practitioners. There are many great planners, designers and placemakers out there and we have been able to assemble a highly talented and able network of people who share our ethos and ambition – to help local partners to deliver high quality places for the future.
After our intial 3 years of trading, we have a strong set of ongoing and active commissions, notwithstanding the current difficulties due to the COVID19 pandemic. Our business model works well under current and likely future conditions, providing additional flexible capacity, collaborating through technology and maintaining momentum on important projects for the future.
