In 2021, Hyas provided support to Sefton, Mid Devon and Colchester/Tendring Councils in successfully bidding for and then progressing 3 of the initial 14 pilot projects. Our team has developed a thorough understanding of the National Model Design Code (NMDC) and it’s application in a range of locations and settings. Since then, Hyas have continued to work on a range of projects taking forward the Government’s agenda, including being involved in the next phase of NMDC Pathfinders.
On 29th April 2022, Hyas ran a webinar to run through some findings from the Pilots, thoughts on the Pathfinders and the approach that Homes Engalnd were taking towards setting high design expectations from their activities. A recoridng of the event is available below.
