Oldham Strategic Sites

Hyas are engaged to review progress on 2 major strategic site allocations in Oldham Borough. Both sites are emerging allocations in the Greater Manchester ‘Places for Everyone’ plan and further evidence is required to support their delivery and ensure that comprehensive place making is a focus going forward.

Working on behalf of Oldham Borough  Council, the Hyas role is to engage the landowners and developers in an exercise of agreeing comprehensive masterplan frameworks for each site, together with a shared infrastructure delivery plan. This will inform a delivery and planning application strategy, to support the upcoming EiP and enable the Council to continue close working, in a structured and focussed way with the landowners through to delivery.
